3rd Annual Global Refining Technology Forum organized by Fleming Gulf Conferences will gather refinery experts from across the globe to deliberate on the latest developments in refining. The 3 day conference will feature interactive panel discussions and case studies by industry experts. The final day of the conference will hold two workshops on Comprehensive sulphur management for tomorrow’s environment and Industrial water treatment.

Silvio José Vieira Machado, Senior Consultant-Hydroprocessing Technology, Downstream Refining - Petrobras

Silvio José Vieira Machado works as Hydroprocessing Senior Consultant in Petrobras Headquarter with expertise in Naphtha & Middle Distillates Hydrotreating and Hydrocracking Technologies. He received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering in 1980 from the Rio de Janeiro‘s Federal University (UFRJ) in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil and his Master Degree in Chemical Engineering with focus in Hydroprocessing Heterogeneous Catalysis at the Engineering Graduation Program Coordination/UFRJ (COPPE) in 1989. He has been working in Petrobras since 1980.
