Vinu Thomas, BAPCO, Head of Cards Business Unit, The Bahrain Petroleum Company BSC
Vinu is an experienced business development and technology professional with over 23 years of multi-faceted experience in information technology covering the banking, finance, oil and gas industry and other business environments. Vinu has spent over 12 years in Bahrain in the capacity of supervisory and managerial roles. He is very fluent with the payment systems under Visa and MasterCard Credit, Debit and Smart Cards. Currently Vinu is the Head of the Cards Business Unit with Bapco where he is responsible for the development and processing of the Sadeem Fuel Cards.He has the ability to design, develop and implement technology that meets the business needs of internal and external customers. Prior to the Cards Business Head role with Bapco, Vinu has been with Bahrain Smart e-Solutions Co. (BSES), Microcenter Group of Companies, and the Awal Commercial Group of Companies in Bahrain on various roles from sales, marketing, business development and information technology.
